SHAAR HATZAFON SHOPPING MALL
For the first time in Israel, a shopping and entertainment complex offers both a large Ikea branch and a sizable shopping mall – Shaar Hatzafon Mall. It is a huge endeavor in scope, the largest shopping and leisure center in the northern region of Israel and one of the largest in the country. The center, which boasts 60,000 m² of shopping area and 2,000 parking spaces, is located in a central junction in northern Israel, which will feature an Ikea branch, a Shufersal Deal store and leading fashion and leisure franchises.
The center includes 120 fashion and lifestyle stores, restaurants and cafes, spread across two stylish air-conditioned shopping floors, for a perfect shopping and entertainment experience for the residents of the north in particular, as well as for the entire country.

CARMEL TUNNELS
The Carmel Tunnels were one of the largest and most complex BOT projects ever executed in Israel.
Four one-way tunnels, totaling about nine kilometers, were dug, connecting the Krayot Interchange, Ruppin Interchange and Hof Hacarmel Interchange. The tunnels’ maximum depth is 200 meters below ground. In addition, one of the largest interchanges in Israel was built, consisting of seven bridges on four levels.
Due to the proximity to residential neighborhoods – and out of concern for the residents and the environment – the project was conducted with strict adherence to environmental values and stakeholder engagement.
In 2011, the project won the first prize in the competition for excellence in construction and infrastructure, in the Super-Infrastructure category, by the Association of Builders of the Land.
