The construction of the Tel Aviv metropolitan area Light Rail’s Maintenance and Operational Center of - also known as Depo - will be equipped with advanced air monitoring systems, waste treatment and groundwater preservation systems. In addition to a body shop for the light rail cars, the complex will include a command and control system, as well as an administrative facility.
The building will be constructed according to green building principles, maximizing the use of daylight to save energy.
