ROAD 65 – 85
A project to extend and improve Highway 85 between Amud River Junction and Amiad Junction.
The project involves expansion of the existing road to a two-directional, four-lane road, to alleviate traffic congestion and improve travel safety, reduce travel times and facilitate access to the center of the country, with direct and positive impacts on reducing air pollution caused by transportation systems.
TEL AVIV LIGHT RAIL
Shikun & Binui, Solel Boneh Infrastructure won the extensive tender for the construction of two 5-km long tunnels as part of the Tel Aviv Light Rail Project, in cooperation with the China Railway Tunnel Group (CRTG).
THE GEOLOGICAL SURVEY BUILDING
A unique research facility combining clean rooms, special measurement labs and researcher offices. The project was designed for the Geological Survey, the Israel Oceanographic and Limnological Research and the National Physics Laboratory.
The building includes some of the most sophisticated laboratories and equipment of their kind anywhere in the world enabling Israeli researchers to pursue a comprehensive and thorough study of soil, water and earthquakes.
TEL AVIV COURTHOUSE
A BOT project for the construction of a 24-story high-rise with 18,000 m² of court rooms and adjacent offices, technical structures and a detention facility over an area of 16,500 m², as well as an underground car parking lot for 260 vehicles.
The project was designed according to green building principles, with special focus on saving water and power and the use of non-polluting materials.
It is the Tel Aviv municipality’s first pilot project for meeting the Green Binder sustainability conditions.
DEPO
The construction of the Tel Aviv metropolitan area Light Rail’s Maintenance and Operational Center of – also known as Depo – will be equipped with advanced air monitoring systems, waste treatment and groundwater preservation systems. In addition to a body shop for the light rail cars, the complex will include a command and control system, as well as an administrative facility.
The building will be constructed according to green building principles, maximizing the use of daylight to save energy.
BOHO AND SHIKMA BRIDGES
The construction of two 450-meter-long rail bridges over the railway line connecting Ashkelon and Beer Sheva, in the section between Yad Mordechai and Netivot. The 450-meter long Shikma Bridge – which covers the Shikma River, Road 34 and the entry road into Kibbutz Erez – was built using the compression method. The Boho Bridge, over the Boho River – located northwest of the town of Netivot – is a 260-meter long beam bridge.
EM HAMOSHAVOT BRIDGE
The construction of a bridge over Highway 4 – north of Geha Junction – which crosses Em Hamoshavot Road to connect the Ayalon Mall area to Petah Tikva’s new industrial zone. The bridge is 242-meters long and 22-meter wide and features 5 spans, 50-meters each. The bridge pavement is designed and comprised of precast sections using the Balanced Cantilever Method. The precast sections – manufactured by the company’s precast concrete plant – are considered to be the widest sections ever implemented in a bridge of this type in Israel.
THE HEART BUILDING AT ICHILOV HOSPITAL
The construction of a 13-story high-rise hospital wing, including four underground floors, of which 3 are designated as an emergency hospital with about 1,000 beds.
It is the only cardiology building in Israel designed as an impressive glass cube and connected – by an atrium with artery-like bridges – to the hospital building.
The building includes hospitalization and day care wards, a cardiac intensive care unit and one of the most advanced and unique catheterization centers in Israel and worldwide.
THE HADERA COURT BUILDING
A zero energy building.
The construction of a courthouse in Hadera, where 80% of the energy consumed will be supplied by renewable energy, through the introduction of energy-efficient components and installation of solar panels.
STATE COMPTROLLER BUILDING
A BOT project for the Israeli government, for the design, construction and maintenance of the State Comptroller and State Ombudsman building, adjacent to the National Parking Lot and the Supreme Court in Jerusalem.
