The BOT project is constructed under a concession Build Operate Transfer (BOT) agreement with the State of Israel for a period of 28 years. The power plant covers an area of about 1,000 acres and will provide power to approximately 60,000 households. Once completed, the power plant will serve as an important milestone in realizing the national goal of generating 10% of Israel’s power through renewable energy by 2020.
