I-579 CAPPING AND NEW BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION
Fay constructed a three-acre public park to connect a historic neighborhood to downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This bridge-like structure over I-579, a major highway in Pittsburgh, will add a much-needed recreational space, rain gardens, and multi-modal transportation solutions to the urban area.
MD85 I-270 INTERCHANGE RECONSTRUCTION
Reconstruction of the MD 85 and I-270 interchange, including approximately 1.1 miles of MD 85 and 1.3 miles of I-270 is underway. Work consists of the widening of more than two miles of roadway, the reconstruction of ramps and approaches, utility relocations, and the installation of drainage, sidewalks, highway lighting, traffic signals, and SWM facilities. The project also includes the removal of existing I-270 twin bridges over MD 85 and rebuilding a new three-span, 450’ long and 120’ wide structure to carry I-270 northbound and southbound traffic over MD 85.
FARGO-MOORHEAD STORMWATER DIVERSION CHANNEL
An S&B USA Concessions and S&B USA Construction P3 project for the planning, financing, construction, operations and maintenance of a 30-mile long flood diversion channel. The project is the first pilot project under the agency’s Revolutionize USACE Civil Works initiative, which aims to demonstrate the possibility of novel delivery methods that effectively lower project costs and construction time. This first-of-its-kind climate resiliency P3 project, speaks directly to the current and future climate change adaptation goals of the Authority, the State and U.S. federal sponsors of the project, and may very well set a new standard for both project development and financing.
SH 288 Express Toll Lanes P3
An S&B USA Concessions and S&B USA Construction P3 project for planning, financing, construction, operation, and maintenance of 10.3 miles of 4 lane toll roads, including 54 bridges and 18 interchange ramps, as well as upgrading, operation, and maintenance of existing infrastructure in Houston, Texas. S&B USA was a member of the construction JV, and is part of the investment group which will own, operate and maintain until 2069.
