Ashalim is Israel’s largest renewable energy project – a 121-MW thermo-solar power plant using CSP technology near the town of Ashalim in the Negev Desert.<\/p>\n

The BOT project is constructed under a concession Build Operate Transfer (BOT) agreement with the State of Israel for a period of 28 years. The power plant covers an area of about 1,000 acres and will provide power to approximately 60,000 households.
